Fax Support

Does Brekeke PBX support FAX?

 

Current version of Brekeke PBX does not support Fax over IP, the fax call should not be sent to Brekeke PBX user extensions.

However, if both sides of users in the call support fax, you can pass t.38 transmission through Brekeke PBX bundled SIP Server to send FAX call to destination by the following Dial Plan rule to bypass PBX.

[Matching Patterns:]
$request = ^INVITE
To = sip:9(.+)@

[Deploy Patterns:]
To = sip:%1@

If a caller dials a number with the prefix “9“, the call will be forwarded to FAX directly. For example, if the FAX number is “12345“, please dial “912345”
