Call Park: Setting the Line Keys
By setting the line keys for call park in each device beforehand, you can park a call into a line key. And others can pick up a call by pressing the line key with other devices.
Yealink T4X:
In this example, we will create two line keys (“line key2” and “line key3”) for call parking.
Move on to the Yealink web admin console ->DSSkey -> Line key
Select line key 2.
Type field: “Call park“
Value field: “park2“
Line: “Line1” (If you used account1 as defaul)
Select line key 3.
Type field: “Call park“
Value field: “park3“
Line: “Line1” (If you used account1 as default call )
Linksys SPA962:
1. At the tab “SPA932“, set as
Server Type: Asterisk
SPA932 Call Pickup Code: *#
2. At the tab “Phone”, set any Line Key from 2 to 6. Here as example the Line Key 2 and 3 are used.
Select Line Key 2
Extension: Disabled
Short Name: park2 (Any name is ok for the Line Key label)
Share Call Appearance: shared
Extended Function: fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=park2@< serverIP >
Select Line Key 3
Extension: Disabled
Short Name: park3
Share Call Appearance: shared
Extended Function: fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=park3@< serverIP >
3.Reboot the phone.
* In “sub=< park parameter >@< serverIP >”, you can use the”$PROXY” parameter instead of real server IP. (e.g. “sub=park2@$PROXY“).
Brekeke PBX:
In each user extension ->[settings]->[Resource map] , set resource as following.
park2=788 park3=789
By this setting, a user can pick up a parked call at the line key2(park2) by calling ext.788. With the same way, a user can pick up one at he line key3 (park3) by ext.789.
