Using Brekeke PBX with a firewall

If you are using a firewall in the same machine where Brekeke product is working on,

Please add “java.exe” as a trusted program in the firewall settings. Otherwise, please open the following ports at the firewall.

UDP and TCP: 5060 (default SIP port)
UDP: 1000029999 (Brekeke PBX v3 default RTP port at SIP Server)
UDP: 3000049999 (Brekeke PBX v3 default RTP port at PBX)
UDP: 5000059999 (Brekeke PBX v3 default RTP port at Media Server)

 

If you are using a firewall between public network and private network where Brekeke product is working on, please open the following ports at the firewall and forwarding the ports to Brekeke PBX address.

UDP and TCP: 5060 (default SIP port)
UDP: 1000029999 (Brekeke PBX v3 default RTP port at SIP Server)
UDP: 3000049999 (Brekeke PBX v3 default RTP port at PBX)

When RTP relay is off at BPBX > [Options], set
UDP: 5000059999 (Brekeke PBX v3 default RTP port at Media Server)

 

Note: In the case that the Mirroring function of redundancy is used, TCP:<SIP port> is used for mirroring communications between the primary and secondary servers even if UDP:<SIP port> is configured as for SIP transfer protocol of the VoIP service.

Note: Disable the SIP-ALG (Application Layer Gateway) or SIP-NAT in the router.

If you need to access to Web admin tool from public  network, please open the following ports.

HTTP: 8080 (Linux default), 18080 (Windows default)

HTTPS: 8443

 

Optional (Only the case system uses these protocol)

WS (Websocket): 10080

WSS (WebSocket over TLS) :10081

 

* If you are using any port other than the default ports, please set them at the firewall.
