Troubleshooting for RADIUS

Logging RADIUS and SIP activities

 

Settings:

1. Go to Brekeke SIP Server Admintool > [Configuration] > [Advanced] page

2. Set following logging variables

net.listener.loglevel.file=255
net.sip.loglevel.file=255
net.auth.loglevel.file=255
net.userdir.loglevel.file=255
radius.acct.loglevel.file=255
dialplan.debug.log=true
-------------------------

3. Save the settings and restart Brekeke SIP Server from admintool

 

Log folder:

Log file (sv.*.*.log) will be stored at the folder located at:
< Brekeke SIP Server installation directory >/webapps/sip/WEB-INF/work/sv/log/

 

Note:

High logging level may have negative impact on the server performance. We recommend to change logging level for debug purpose only and remove logging setting after debug.

 

Capture RADIUS and SIP packets

Refer to Capture Packets with Wireshark and set Filter “sip || radius“.
