Update Java used by Brekeke SIP Server on Windows
If you have an issue after updated Java, follow the following instruction.
If you installed with the installer of BSS version 3.2 or later
- Stop Service.
- Click the Brekeke SIP Server icon from the task tray icon or run <install-directory>\bin\BrekekeSIPw.exe. (For example, C:\ProgramFiles\Brekeke\sip\bin\BrekekeSIPw.exe)
- At the [Java] tab, change
- Check the [Use default] check box. Click [Apply] button.
- Start Service.
* If you still have a problem, move to the [Java] tab and enter the file path of jvm.dll at [Java Virtual Machine] field manually.
If you installed with the installer of BSS version 3.1 or before
- Find the file path of jvm.dll of new version
(For example, C:\Program Files\java\jdk1.6.0_xx\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll) - From [Start] menu of the Windows, select [ Run… ].
- Type in “regedit” and click OK.
- In the Registry Editor, select
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.x\BrekekeSIP\Parameters\Java
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.x\BrekekeSIP\Parameters\Java - Modify the Value of “Jvm” parameter.
- Set the path of the file jvm.dll in the Value data field, which you got in Step 1
- Save it and restart the machine
